Intersection of the Week. Skip week.

Monday 25 May 2026

The past week was dominated by the Critical Minerals Australia Conference in Perth and the flow-on from the Federal Budget, with ASX announcements skewing toward quarterly reporting and corporate updates rather than standalone drilling results. No single intersection from the 17–23 May window cleared the bar for this series.

Worth watching next week: several RC and diamond programs across WA's goldfields have assays pending, and iTech Minerals is expected to commence drilling at the Reynolds Range gold-antimony prospects in the NT.

At NORWEST EXPLORATION & MINING SERVICES, we specialise in rapid deployment of geologists and field technicians into active programmes across Australia. Follow Norwest for weekly drilling updates and daily industry insights.
